Stress Management | ||
Stress is one of the most common problems in today's society. Challenges are far more complex than they used to be, and we live in an age of increasing rapid changes, subjecting us to greater and inescapable pressures. This a problem not only for people who find themselves with a highly-pressurised lifestyle, such as teachers, nurses, doctors, senior managers and directors, but also for those who suffer boredom and frustration caused by insufficient stimulus. | ||
Achieving the right balance between too much and too little stress has become an integral challenge of life today. We need to be able to recognise our own stress level and its effect on our health. There are health implications too. The cost of stress is immense at both human and corporate levels in terms of stress-related illness. By being aware of our own stress responses and triggers, we can make the appropriate adjustments in our lives to change our stress patterns. This helps us to cope with stress more effectively, and to regain control of our lives. This obviously has beneficial health implications which in turn should enable us to operate more efficiently, both as individuals in our private lives, and in the workplace ENERGI workshops has developed a structured approach to stress management which helps us to recognise stress and its causes, and to control it through exercise and relaxation techniques. Our one-day workshops are designed for employers who wish to promote the health and productivity of their workforce. We also run open workshops for individuals who are interested in a holistic approach to stress relief. |
